TAROM's Future Under the Microscope - What Do You Think?

So, I read that the Romanian government is taking a hard look at TAROM's future. They're analyzing its strategic direction but, apparently, this won't mess with the airline's current operations. That's good news for anyone flying with them right now.

Rumor has it that they might be considering privatization or even liquidation. Honestly, that's pretty intense. I mean, TAROM has been around for ages, so it's kinda wild to think about it being privatized or worse.

The airline says the government won't interfere with day-to-day stuff, so flights should be business as usual. But you gotta wonder, if they do decide to privatize or liquidate, how long can things stay 'business as usual'?

What's your take on this? Do you think privatizing would help TAROM or is it better off staying state-owned? And what about liquidation-seems extreme, right? Can't wait to hear what you all think!
Privatization might give TAROM a shot in the arm if it leads to better management and more investment. But it's a gamble. Some airlines thrive post-privatization, others struggle. Liquidation seems like a last resort, but it might be on the table if they can't turn things around. I flew with TAROM a couple of years ago and had a decent experience, so it'd be a shame to see them go under. Curious if other countries' airlines have faced similar situations and how they handled it.
