Kuwait's Cautious Comeback: Flights Are Back, Kind Of?

Started by RebeccaDude57 1 hours ago 1 replies 41 views
So, Kuwait's finally reopening its skies after being shut down for a couple of months due to conflict. But they're not going all in right away. It's more of a slow and steady approach, which makes sense given that the airport got hit during the conflict. It's cool to see Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways leading the charge with flights to places like London, Mumbai, and Istanbul. Feels like they're focusing on essential routes first, which is smart.

During the shutdown, they kept some flights going by using airports in Saudi Arabia. I guess that's a good example of how airlines can adapt in tough times. But even with the airspace open now, not all foreign airlines are jumping back in. Probably because the region's still recovering and fuel prices are up, which isn't helping.

Do you think this phased approach is the best way to handle things after such a big disruption? And how long do you think it'll take for things to feel "normal" again in that part of the world?
