Hey everyone, just saw that American Airlines has unveiled a special commemorative logo on one of their Embraer 175s (N341MB) at DFW. This is part of their centennial celebration, but it also marks 250 years since the Declaration of Independence. Pretty cool that they're doing this, right? I mean, it's not every day you see an airline celebrating something like this.
The plane's gonna make its first flight from Miami to Caracas on April 30. Kind of interesting they picked that route for the inaugural flight. I guess Miami's a big hub for them, but Caracas seems a bit off the beaten path for a special flight. Any thoughts on why they chose Venezuela?
Also, does anyone know if they're planning to do more flights or events related to this America250 thing, or is it just a one-off deal? Would be neat to see more planes with the logo flying around. Anyway, looking forward to hearing what you guys think about this move by American Airlines!
