How long can the F-35 stay airborne on just its own fuel?

So, I was reading up on the F-35 Lightning II and got curious about how long it can actually fly without needing to refuel. It's not quite the air superiority beast that the F-22 Raptor is, but the F-35 does pack in some cool stealth tech and versatility. From what I've gathered, the F-35 can fly for about 1,200 nautical miles on internal fuel alone. That's not too shabby for a multi-role fighter, right?

I think it's pretty cool how it's sort of the modern evolution of the F-16, with all the new tech and stealth capabilities. But I wonder how that range compares to other jets out there? And does anyone know if the different variants (like the A, B, and C models) have different ranges?

Honestly, with all the tech packed into these jets, it's amazing they can fly so far on their own without a top-up. I'm interested to hear what you guys think about the F-35's range and its role compared to the F-22. Does the range make it a game-changer in your opinion?
Yeah, the F-35's range is around 1,200 nautical miles, but it really depends on the variant. The F-35A's got the best range, while the B and C have less due to their different designs. The F-35B, with its vertical landing capability, sacrifices some fuel for that feature. It's versatile but not a game-changer like the F-22 in terms of air dominance. Still, its stealth and tech make it a solid multi-role fighter. Would be interesting to see how it holds up in a mixed fleet with other aircraft.
