So I've been flying a lot with Alaska Airlines this year and I think I'm close to hitting MVP Gold status. But I'm trying to figure out if it's worth pushing a bit more to reach MVP Gold 75K. The benefits seem pretty similar, and I can't really tell if the extra effort is worth it.
I know both get free upgrades and some bonus miles, but is there any real advantage to Gold 75K that I'm missing? Also, any tips on how to quickly rack up those extra miles without breaking the bank? I've heard some folks do mileage runs, but not sure how common or worthwhile that is these days.
