Hey everyone, just saw that Mexicana has taken delivery of their first E190-E2. Pretty cool that they picked it up on May 2, right? This one's joining their fleet of five E195-E2s, so now they've got a total of six E2s. Seems like they're really banking on these Embraers. This particular plane, XA-MXF, made its way from So Jos dos Campos to Mexico City with a stop in Manaus.
Seems like a smart move for Mexicana to expand with these jets. With 108 seats, the E190-E2 should be a good fit for some of their routes. I guess we'll see how they utilize them, especially since they're planning on getting six more this year.
What do you all think about their choice to go with the E190-E2? Do you think it's a good fit for their network? Also, I'm curious about how these new aircraft might impact their operations and route planning. Anyone have any insights or thoughts on that?
