Air Congo planning flights to Brussels in 2026?

Hey folks, just heard that Air Congo is thinking about launching long-haul flights to Brussels starting early third quarter 2026. It's kinda interesting to see them eyeing Europe. Brussels makes sense, I guess, with its central location and connections. But I'm curious about how they're planning to pull this off. I mean, do they have the right aircraft for long-haul?

Plus, Brussels is pretty competitive with all the big European carriers already there, so it'll be interesting to see how Air Congo plans to stand out. Maybe they'll focus on connecting the Congolese diaspora or some unique service offerings?

Anyone know if they've done long-haul before or is this a first for them? Let me know what you think about this move. Do you reckon it'll be successful, or are they biting off more than they can chew with Brussels?
Air Congo going for Brussels is ambitious. Not sure what their fleet looks like now, but they'd definitely need aircraft capable of that range. Wonder if they'll lease some wide-bodies or go for something like an A330? The competition in Brussels is no joke, but maybe their angle is direct connections for the Congolese community. Could be a smart niche if they can offer good prices and service. I don't think they've done long-haul yet, so this might be a first. Curious to see how they'll differentiate themselves!
