So, Delta's starting to roll out their new Airbus A330-900s, and I'm curious what folks think about this move. They've been adding them to their fleet since 2019, but it looks like they're ramping up deliveries again. These planes are supposed to be more fuel-efficient and have better passenger comfort compared to the older A330s.
I read somewhere they're planning to use these mostly on transatlantic routes. Seems like a good fit with their focus on expanding connections to Europe. Anyone flown on one yet? How does it compare to their 767s or even the A350s for those who've tried both?
Also, does anyone know if they're planning any special configurations or keeping it pretty standard? I think it's a smart move, especially with all the competition on those long-haul routes. Just wondering if it'll really make a difference in the passenger experience. Thoughts?
