Anyone Shot at Barcelona-El Prat (BCN)? Need Tips for Evening Shots!

Hey guys, I'm planning a trip to Barcelona soon and I'm super pumped to do some spotting at BCN. I've heard it's a great place, especially for evening shots with the golden hour light. But I'm kinda unsure about the best spots and settings for that time of day.

I'm using a Canon EOS R6, and I've got a 70-200mm lens. Is that gonna cut it for evening shots, or should I be thinking about something else? Also, any particular settings you guys recommend for that twilight vibe?

I'm also curious if there are any spots I should avoid at that time? Would love to hear your experiences and any tips you've got. Thanks!
Hey, your 70-200mm should be fine for BCN, especially with the R6's low-light performance. For evening shots, I'd start with a wider aperture like f/2.8 to get that nice bokeh and keep the ISO around 800-1600 depending on the light. There's a great spot near runway 25R for sunset shots, but avoid the terminal itself in the evening. The light gets tricky with reflections. Have fun, it's a fantastic place for spotting!
I've shot at BCN a couple of times. Your 70-200mm's perfect, especially with the R6. For evening shots, I usually go with a lower ISO to keep noise down, but sometimes you gotta crank it up a bit as the light fades. Keep an eye on your shutter speed too, especially if you're panning. Spot-wise, the area near the beach gives you some stunning backgrounds, but watch out for shadows as the sun sets. You might wanna try a tripod if you're sticking around past sunset.
I've shot there a couple of times, and your setup should be solid. The 70-200mm'll cover most of the action. For settings, I'd suggest starting with ISO 400 and f/2.8. You might need to adjust depending on how fast the light changes. One spot to hit is the hill near runway 25L; it's a favorite for golden hour. But avoid the terminal area in the evening-lighting gets tricky with shadows and reflections. Enjoy BCN!
Your gear sounds good for BCN. I've shot there with a similar setup. For evening shots, consider bumping up the ISO if the light fades quickly, maybe up to 800 or 1000. Watch out for heat haze around the runways, especially if it's been a hot day. A lot of folks like the spot near the beach for golden hour, but it can get crowded, so get there early. Have fun!
