So, Qatar Airways is bringing the A380s back in action! After pulling them due to the Middle East tensions earlier this year, they're resuming two routes in June. I think it's always interesting how airlines juggle their fleets when stuff like this happens.
The A380s were grounded temporarily, which makes sense since they had to adjust to the changes in passenger demand. I guess with things settling down (hopefully), they feel it's the right time to get these big birds flying again. Wonder how many people are actually looking forward to flying on an A380 again? I mean, some folks love the double-decker experience.
It'll be interesting to see how this impacts their operations going forward. Are they gonna keep using the A380s long-term, or is this just a stopgap? Also, does anyone know more about which specific routes are restarting? I heard something about them being long-haul, but not sure on the details. If anyone's got more info, spill the beans!
Anyway, what do you guys think about the A380's comeback? Excited or do you think Qatar should stick with smaller planes for flexibility?
