Is collecting airline-branded luggage tags a thing?

So, I was cleaning out the basement and found a box full of old airline-branded luggage tags. Some are from airlines that don't even exist anymore, like Pan Am and TWA. I had no idea these were still around!

I'm not sure if anyone else collects these or if they're worth anything, but they seem pretty cool. They've got that retro vibe and some neat designs.

Does anyone else collect these, or know if there's a community for it? I'm curious if people trade or sell them like other airline memorabilia. Also, any tips on how to store or display them without damaging them?

I'm thinking of keeping them just for the nostalgia factor, but it would be great to hear if others are into this too!
Yeah, collecting airline-branded luggage tags is definitely a thing! There are folks who love airline memorabilia, and those tags, especially from defunct airlines like Pan Am and TWA, can be pretty sought after. Some people trade them or sell them online, so you might wanna check out sites like eBay to get a sense of their value. For storing them, maybe consider a binder with plastic sleeves or a shadow box for display. Keeps them safe and easy to show off!
I've dabbled in collecting airline stuff, and those luggage tags are a neat find! There's definitely a community for this kind of thing. Some folks really geek out over anything related to defunct airlines, and Pan Am and TWA are classics. You might want to check out Facebook groups or forums dedicated to airline memorabilia. For storage, maybe get some clear sleeves or a display case to keep them safe but still visible. Have you thought about selling any, or are you keeping them all?
Totally a thing! Those old airline luggage tags can be pretty collectible, especially ones from airlines that are no longer around. There's definitely a market for trading and selling them. I've seen some go for decent prices at memorabilia fairs. To store them, maybe use archival sleeves or a shadow box to keep them nice and safe. I'm curious, do you have any tags from lesser-known airlines? Those can sometimes be even more interesting to collectors.
