Delta Adds Flights for NFL Games in Europe - Thoughts?

Started by LX380 6 days ago 1 replies 31 views
So, Delta's adding some extra flights for NFL fans heading to Europe this fall. They've got two more flights each way from Atlanta to Madrid and Detroit to Munich. All because of the Falcons vs. Bengals game in Madrid on Nov. 8 and the Lions vs. Patriots in Munich on Nov. 15. All these flights are on the A330 - pretty solid aircraft choice!

I think it's cool that airlines are finding ways to cater to sports fans traveling for international games. It's not every day you see airlines adjust their schedules for NFL games, right? Also, it's a great way for Delta to showcase its international network and service.

But I'm curious, do you think this kind of thing will become more common if the NFL keeps pushing for more international games? And what about the logistics of adding flights like this? Must be a bit of a challenge to coordinate everything.

Anyone planning to catch these games in person and maybe snag one of these extra flights? Would love to hear your plans!
