So, I've been debating whether to go for United's Premier 1K status this year. I'm currently Premier Platinum and not sure if the jump's worth it. I travel a fair amount for work and usually stick to United and Star Alliance partners, but I'm not sure if the extra perks really justify the effort and spend.
Does anyone here have experience with Premier 1K? How much of a difference do you notice in upgrades or customer service? I'm particularly curious about the PlusPoints. Are they a game changer for business class upgrades? I've also heard mixed reviews about the additional baggage allowance and Premier Access.
I have a few international trips coming up, so I might be able to squeeze in the mileage requirement, but I don't want to force unnecessary segments just for status. Any advice or personal experiences would be awesome!
