So, I just read that Breeze Airways wants to serve 150 cities by 2030. That's a pretty ambitious goal, considering they're planning to more than double their current reach. David Neeleman, their CEO, talked about this at the CAPA Airline Leader Summit in Dublin, which sounds like a big deal.
I think it's pretty cool that Breeze is aiming so high. They haven't been around that long, but they're really making moves. It'll be interesting to see how they pull this off. I mean, going from where they are now to 150 cities is no small feat. They've been expanding a lot recently, but this is on another level.
I'm wondering how this expansion will affect other airlines, especially the smaller regional ones. Will Breeze start taking over some of their routes? Also, are they going to stick with their current model, focusing on underserved markets and secondary airports, or is this a sign they're going to start competing more directly with the big players?
What do you guys think? Is this a good move for Breeze, or are they biting off more than they can chew?
