So, get this: a Delta flight had to head back to the gate because some guy wouldn't hang up his phone. Yeah, really. I get it, sometimes calls are super important, but come on... once you're on a plane, you gotta play by the rules, right?
Apparently, this happened right before takeoff. The flight attendants asked him to end the call, and he just wouldn't do it. I mean, I've had some important calls too, but I'd never risk the wrath of a planeload of people waiting to get going. Must've been awkward for everyone on board.
It's got me thinking, though: What would you guys do in that situation? Just hang up, or try to explain to the crew why it's so important? Also, do you think airlines should have stricter penalties for stuff like this?
I wonder how often this kind of thing happens. Maybe it's more common than we think, but usually, folks just follow the rules. Anyway, it must've been a rough day for that passenger and everyone else on that flight. Curious to hear what you all think about this whole thing!
