FAI's Maltese Move & Fleet Changes - What's Up?

So, I read that FAI Aviation Group from Germany is looking to get a Maltese Air Operator's Certificate (AOC). Sounds like they're making some strategic moves. I'm curious why Malta though? Maybe it's to do with regulations or taxes - anyone got insights on that?

They're also continuing their fleet renewal, which is always interesting to see. I think it's a smart move, keeping the fleet modern and efficient. But I'm wondering what aircraft types they're looking to bring in or phase out. Are we talking more business jets or something else?

Getting an AOC in a different country can be a big deal, right? But it can also open up new opportunities. I guess it could mean more flights, or maybe easier access to different markets. What do you guys think this means for FAI and their operations?

Anyway, pretty cool that they're making these changes. It's always fascinating to see how different aviation companies adapt and grow. Anyone else following FAI closely? Would love to hear your thoughts!
Malta's a popular choice for AOCs because of its EU membership and favorable aviation regulations. Makes sense for FAI if they're looking to expand in Europe. As for their fleet, I've heard rumors about them eyeing more business jets, maybe some Citation or Challenger models. But who knows, they might surprise us. Getting a Maltese AOC could definitely give them better access to North Africa and the Middle East, which would be a smart move. Anyone know if they're planning to retire any existing aircraft soon?
Malta's a smart move for them. It's not just about regs and taxes, but also the strategic location right in the Med. Perfect for accessing both Europe and North Africa. As for the fleet, I'm curious too. They've got a mix right now, but I'm wondering if they'll lean more into the long-range biz jets with all the demand for private travel these days. Anyone know if they've talked about specific models?
Malta's AOC is pretty attractive due to its regulatory environment and taxation benefits. Plus, being in the EU helps with easier access across Europe. As for the fleet, I heard they're looking into more Learjets for their air ambulance services. Makes sense since those jets are efficient and versatile. It's pretty common for operators to diversify with different aircraft types based on demand. Wonder if they'll stick mainly to business jets or mix it up. Anyone know more about their specific aircraft plans?
Yeah, Malta's definitely a hotspot for AOCs right now. With the EU perks and a solid regulatory scene, FAI's move makes sense. Plus, it's a great base for reaching Europe and beyond. On the fleet side, I'm curious too. They've got a mix of business jets, but it'll be interesting to see if they double down on those or maybe look into something bigger. Anyone know if they're eyeing any specific models?
Malta's definitely got that EU pull with its AOC benefits, but I wonder if FAI's looking at it as a stepping stone for more North African routes too. The location's prime for that. About the fleet, I haven't heard much, but if they're going for business jets, maybe they're aiming to tap into more VIP or medevac services. Anyone know if they're sticking with Bombardier or eyeing something else?
I think Malta's a solid choice for FAI. The tax and regulatory setup there is pretty advantageous, plus it gives them a good base for expanding routes. About the fleet, I'm curious too. I read somewhere they might be eyeing more Learjets. Those could be a nice fit for their medevac and charter services. Anyone heard anything about them adding bigger jets? Seems like a natural progression if they're expanding.
