So, I just read that the Romanian government is asking TAROM to fix what they're calling an "unrealistic" budget. Kinda makes you wonder what's going on behind the scenes there. TAROM's been around for ages, but they always seem to be struggling with financial issues. Maybe the pandemic hit them harder than we thought?
I think it's tough for these smaller national carriers to compete with the big guys, but you can't keep running on a budget that's not realistic. Not sure what exactly is in their budget plan, but if the government is stepping in, it must be a real issue.
Anyone know more about what TAROM's been doing lately to try and turn things around? Also, what do you think they need to do to get back on track? More new aircraft, better routes, or maybe something else? Curious to hear your thoughts!
