Amber Aviation Saying Goodbye to the G650ER - What's Next?

So, I just read that Amber Aviation in China is phasing out their Gulfstream G650ERs. Not sure how many of you were following this, but it's kind of interesting given how popular these jets are in the bizjet world. The G650ER is known for its long-range capabilities and luxury features, so I'm a bit curious about why they're making this move. Could be a shift in strategy? Or maybe they're looking at other aircraft that better fit their needs?

I think this could say something about the state of business aviation in China right now. Maybe there's less demand for long-haul private flights, or they're finding better cost efficiency in other models. Who knows, maybe they're planning to expand their fleet with something else.

Does anyone have any insights on what Amber might be planning next? Or why they'd phase out such a well-regarded aircraft? Also, what do you guys think this means for Gulfstream? Are they losing ground in the market, or is this just a one-off decision by Amber?
Maybe they're looking at newer models like the G700 or G800? Those offer even more range and efficiency. Plus, with tech upgrades and a more modern cabin, it's tempting for companies to want the latest and greatest. Or maybe Amber's just shifting focus to more regional routes, which would make the G650ER overkill. Wouldn't be surprised if they're considering something like the Bombardier Global series too. Either way, I doubt this means bad news for Gulfstream. Just Amber's strategy changing, I guess.
I'm thinking it might be a cost thing. Operating and maintenance costs on the G650ER are no joke, and maybe Amber's trying to cut back. They could be looking at smaller jets or even newer models like the G700, which might offer better fuel efficiency and range. Also, the market's been shifting with more focus on sustainability. Maybe Amber's considering more eco-friendly options? Wouldn't be surprised if we see them going for something greener.
