Is the A380's 4-engine design a deal-breaker now?

Hey everyone, I was just thinking about how the Airbus A380, which was such a big deal when it launched, is now kind of struggling because of its 4-engine setup. Back in 2007, it was like the ultimate flying experience with its huge size and the ability to carry over 500 people. Pretty wild for its time, right? But now, it seems like that same design is what's holding it back commercially.

The A380's four engines made sense when it first came out, but with the way fuel prices have gone and how efficient twin-engine planes have become, it's just not as practical anymore. Twin-engine planes can do long-haul flights just as well and are way more economical. Airlines seem to prefer them because they're easier on the budget.

I wonder if Airbus saw this coming or if they thought the A380 would still be a hit today. Do you think there's any way the A380 could make a comeback, or is it just a relic of a different time now? And for those of you who've flown on one, was the experience worth the hype? Would love to hear what you all think!
