Hey everyone, saw that Lufthansa's adding more flights from St. Louis to Frankfurt! Starting Monday, they'll go from three to five flights a week. That's a pretty solid increase. Flights are now on Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, and Sun. They're sticking with the Airbus A330-300 for the route.
It's nice to see the Midwest getting more international connections. Lufthansa's been the only European carrier flying out of St. Louis, so this is a big deal for the region. With all those universities and big companies around, I guess there's a lot of demand for these flights.
Dirk Janzen from Lufthansa mentioned how grateful they are for the support from St. Louis. Seems like they're really committed to this route.
What do you guys think about this move? Do you think we'll see more European carriers follow suit and start flights from St. Louis, or is Lufthansa gonna be the lone ranger for a while?
