So, I've been racking up Capital One Venture miles and thinking about using them for an upgrade on Emirates. Has anyone tried this before? I know you can transfer Venture miles to Emirates Skywards, but I'm not sure how smooth the process is or if there are any tricks to getting a good deal on upgrades.
I usually fly economy, but the idea of experiencing Emirates' business class is pretty tempting. Especially on a long haul. I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to using points for upgrades, so any advice would be awesome.
Also, how's the availability for upgrades using Skywards miles? Is it hit or miss, or are there certain routes where you tend to have better luck? Would love to hear from anyone who's been down this road before!
